Born and raised in St. John’s, Dr. MacDonald completed his medical training and anesthesiology residency at the University of Ottawa, earning his FRCPC in 2013. He specialized in Cardiovascular Anesthesiology and Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography at the Ottawa Heart Institute.

Since 2014, he’s been providing top-notch care, primarily at the Health Sciences Center in St. John’s.

Outside the clinic, Dr. MacDonald enjoys staying active and exploring new places.
